1. On 2/14, the class lecture will be provided by Dr. Elizabeth Rose Mayeda, as part of the Epi Tools Workshop. We will meet in MH1401 at 1:15 pm, instead of our usual classroom. We ask that students please pre-register for this so that Dr. Glymour's team gets an accurate headcount and such that you receive readings and materials through the workshop admin directly. The workshop runs 1:15-4:30 and it'd be great if you can stay for the whole session, however we understand folks may need to leave. The HW assignment will be based on the first half, that is presented from 1;15-3pm (usual class time).
2. Several office hours have now been posted on the CLE.
3. Posting on the Forum - thank you for posting several good questions last week. Depending on timing, we will try to prioritize questions that pertain to the HW assignments first. Please note, typically the TA's and I review each other's responses before posting, to minimize confusion or the need for back/forth; however, this sometimes means it will take a little more time for us to respond. Thank you for your patience. We also encourage you to try answering each other, and I or the TA's will comment!
4. Clarification on communication/grading - please review the answer keys after small group as well as your graded assignments. With regards to grading, the TA's will try to explain with a brief note if there is partial points taken off, however if most of the question is incorrect, you are expected to look to the key (rather than the TA commenting in-line in your HW). Hope that makes sense.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
