Dear enrollees in Epi 212, Publishing & Presenting Clinical Research,
Just a reminder that the second course assignment, a draft introduction section for a research manuscript, is due this coming Tuesday, May 7, at noon. Once again, please upload your assignment using the link on the on-line syllabus and use the template that's provided.
Some of you assigned to get feedback from Dr. Carolyn Gibson may be waiting for her comments on your first assignment-- Dr. Gibson will be returning from travel out of the country soon and will have feedback for you shortly.
Also, please keep in mind that our next course session on May 7 will feature a guest speaker, Dr. Vivek Jain, who will discuss effective visual presentation of research data in tables and figures and preparation of text to summarize and frame these data. This will be followed by a discussion about crafting the discussion and/or conclusions section of a research manuscript.
