Welcome to Epi 222! We are excited to start the course next week. We will begin with a lecture by our course director, Dr. Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo. As she will be giving the session in real time, I encourage you to log on to the Zoom so that you can hear directly from her and have your questions answered. This course has always benefited from having interactive discussion, which will obviously more challenging in the online format, but we hope you will use the Q&A function!

Please view the very short introduction video before Tuesday. There are also two short readings that provide context for the first session and should read before then. Please let me know if you any questions - my email is christine.dehlendorf@ucsf.edu. We look forward to working with you all over the next quarter!

Happy new year,

Christine Dehlendorf

Hi Dr. Dehlendorf,
I can't find the introduction video on the course website even though I'm logged in. Has it been uploaded yet?

Thank you and Happy New Year!
Best,
Matt Durstenfeld

Hi Christine, I have a course logistics question - in registering for the course, there is a 1-unit, a 1.5-unit, and a 2-unit option. In the introductory video, however, it sounds like we should either register for 1 or 2 units. Just wanted to clarify if there was a 1.5-unit option and if so, what the difference between that and the 2-unit option is. I'm sorry if this has been answered already but I didn't see it anywhere on the CLE. Thanks so much for your time!
Best,
Amanda

There should only be a 1 or 2 unit option. Sorry for the confusion! I will check with Clair and Agnes about that. Please let me know if this is still confusing. Thanks!
