Hi Everyone,
For our first peer review coming up on Wednesday, I just wanted to clarify the goals/expectations. We are simply looking for you to read your classmate's specific aims page carefully and take note of any questions or thoughts you have while reading it. Focus on content, but comments on formatting, grammar, and sentence structure are also appropriate and can be useful.
For the Specific Aims page, you really want to be pulled in and convinced of the importance of the research, understand the research gap, and be confident that the proposed research will make a substantial contribution to fill the research gap. Since these are training/career development awards, it is also good to see what the applicant will be gaining from this project that helps them achieve their career goals. Looking forward to class on Wednesday.
