In class Thursday we will review the mammography HW, and have a guest lecture on data inputs for cost effectiveness models by the incomparable James G. Kahn, (former director of this course). I will also give a brief presentation on the qualitative assessment of cost data. Finally, we will have a Journal club meeting in which we will review a CEA article and think through how well it addresses the key features that any good cost effectiveness analysis should have. There are two articles for the Journal Club listed on the CLE but realistically we will only have time for one. If you don't have time to read both articles, read the article on “Cost-effectiveness of PCSK9 Inhibitor Therapy in Patients with Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia by Kazi Dhruv (another former Director of this course).
