final exam question: 3c & 3d

Hello! Question 3c poses the hypothetical "if these two tests were independent conditional on D+/D-.." Question 3d asks "There were only 16 patients with TVCL+ and AFI-, so your confidence interval on the likelihood ratio would be wide, but what is the likelihood ratio for this combination of results?" To answer 3d do we continue to assume that the two tests are independent or was that only for 3c?

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,
Base your answer to 3d on the data (taken from Table 5 of the paper) on the combination of TVCL and AFI results. That data is displayed in a table between 3(c) and 3(d).
