Final project figure

For our final project figure, are we allowed to create a Figure 1. inclusion/exclusion flow chart? My research project is at the stage where I'm cleaning data and determining exclusions. We are waiting for additional data (ICD9 codes) to determine our primary predictor (charlson comorbidity index) so the dataset is not ready for any statistical testing. Thanks!

A table 1, showing the demographic and baseline characteristics of your study population is definitely fine. You need to show you used Stata to generate the data for your table (e.g. Mean, median, SD, etc).

Thanks Bardia but I'm specifically asking about the figure requirement, not the table requirement.

Melissa - though most figures are fine for the Final Project, an inclusion/exclusion flow chart feels like it doesn't really capture the spirit of what we're trying to do, which are presenting research findings.  It is more of a process description and requires only a couple of tabulations in terms of Stata work.  Can you think through a figure that would be a bit more about analyzing the data in some way that provides a research finding?  Thanks for asking!
