Dear PT 211 students:

This is your weekly note from me summarizing the preparation needed prior to our next class meeting on Thursday, April 14th 9-1130AM in CL 220/223.  Week 6 is our last in the "flipped model" - prep work then interactive cases.

We have two distinct sessions this week – (1) Psychiatric and movement disorders and (2) Glucocorticoids and bone-strengthening agents.  The sub topics complement one another as there is some cause/effect. Each of these has a mini lecture (18 mins and 10 mins respectively) and a brief (formative) quiz.  Please complete BOTH quizzes no later than 2200 on Wednesday, April 13th to enable us time to review and prep for class.

Reminder to please sit in your groups and for at least one person to bring a charged computer to class to access resources.  Any questions?  If so, please do post these to the Q/A forum.

Thanks to Daryush and Liz for finalizing some great materials for us this week.   And also to Scott for keeping our tech sorted.

I know I said this earlier, but for those of you who have been on your 2-day clinicals so far, please let us know about any suspected medication-related issues you may be seeing. Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.

The PT211 Team

p.s. Why has no one alerted me to the fact that my previous messages said "please COMPETE the quiz..."?  We definitely expect completion not competition!
