To estimate the RERI and CIs in #6-7 of this week's homework, you may find it useful to use the Delta method (see attached or file posted on Week #9).
To estimate the covariance matrix in Stata, use the command estat vce after running your logistic regression model.

As we mentioned in class last week, before doing the homework, please read the RERI tutorial posted online. It contains the formulas necessary for estimation of RERI using various methods. Once you fit your models, you could use ORs to estimate RERI either by the Delta method (see Excel spreadsheet posted online) or by hand using the formula from the tutorial or by Stata command nlcom which is a useful shorthand to do calculations with exponentiations and other nonlinear combinations of estimators.
