Post your introduction (Sample Asynchronous Introductory Video Assignment)
Completion requirements
STEP 1: Post an introduction of yourself, using the recorded video feature on Zoom (please see below for Zoom instructions)

How to record a video using Zoom
- Sign up for a free account at https://ucsf.zoom.us/ using your myaccess credentials.
- Host/Start a meeting with video
- Record your meeting
- Upload the video file (MP4) to the Intro Assignment Forum (instructions will be on the course site)
*For best video quality, use a headset mic and find a quiet, well-lit space with a strong WIFI signal to do the recording.
How to Post an Introduction:
- Click Add a new discussion topic
- Enter your name and something unique (if you like) in the Subject box - (e.g., Kedra, Writing from under the Golden Gate)
- Type your introduction into the Message box, upload your video.
- Scroll down and click Post to Forum

STEP 2: Read and reply to the introductions of others. Say "hello" to other students. Find things you have in common. Ask questions to learn more.
How to Reply to Others
- Read some of the introductions posted by others - click the Subject (not the name)
- Click the Reply link at the bottom right of the message box
